Abstract

There were examined 400 pregnant patients with compensated chronic placental insufficiency (CPI). 200 patients (1st group) were on combined treatment with medical ozone. The second group of 100 women was undergoing hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) procedures. The third group of 100 patients undergoing conventional treatment (with Actovegin) was a control one. To the rest traditional treatment was made. It was fined out after, that ozone therapy and HBO stimulates hormonal function of placenta by normalizing fetal-uterine blood flow. The same effect enlarged estradyol and placenta lactogen. Ozone therapy was found to cause improvement of thrombocytes functional activity and decrease in fibrinogen concentration, plasma soluble fibrin-monomer complex content, as well as significant activated partial thromboplastine time. Pathomorphologic examination of the afterbirth testifies to the predominance of compensatory adaptive mechanisms in CPI patients who were on ozone and HBO therapy. Key words: chronic placental insufficiency, hyperbaric oxygenation, ozone therapy, Actovegin, estradyol, placenta lactogen, placenta .
