[Observing the Effect of Ozone on 132 Cases Bacterial Vaginal Diseases]

Abstract

Objective : To research the effect of ozone on bacterial vaginal diseases. Method : Treating group: The women ( 132 cases ) were flushed vaginal with 6ppM menstruation . The flush time once for 5 minutes in a day . Control group : The women were flushed vaginal with jieeryin solution, and then with one Shuanzuotai plug once a day for 7 days after 3 days of menstruation . The cases in both of the groups were examined after 4 weeks treatment . Result : The total effective rate is 100% in treating group. The cure rate, better effective , effective is 84% (111 cases ), 8.33% (11 cases ), 7.58% (10 cases) respectively. There's significant difference in cure rate comparing with control group . Conclusion :Ozone can not only sterilized but also change the internal environment , recover the vaginal ecosystem. There's good effect in treating bacterial vaginal diseases .It's simple method with less side effect and acceptable to the patients , and It's worth spreading. [Observation on the effect of ozone on vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis]

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ozone in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis. Methods A randomized, controlled, open clinical trial was conducted and all the patients were divided into vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC) group consisted 72 vulvovaginal candidiasis cases and bacterial vaginosis(BV) group consisted of 72 bacterial vaginosis cases. Thirty-six cases(treatment group) in VVC group were treated with ozone and another 36 cases(control group) were treated with miconazole nitrate suppositories.Thirty-six cases(control group) in the VC group were ozone and another 36 cases(control group) were treated with metronidazole suppositories. clinial manifestations three days before and after treatment observed and the vaginal secretions was pathogenically tested and the results were compared. Results Three days after the end of treatment,the cure rates in treatment group and control group of VVC group were 58.3% and 61.1% with the effective rates of 83.3% and 88.9%,respectively. The average symptom-relieving period was 2.58 days in treatment group and 2.36 days in control group. The pathogen-eliminating rates were 94.4% in treatment group and 100% in control group,without significant differences between these two groups(P0.05).The cure rates in the treatment group and control group of BV group were 61.1% and 63.4% with a effective rates of 80.6% and 88.9%, respectively. The average manifetation-relieving days were 3.72 days in the treatment group and 3.53 days in control group. The pathogen-eliminating rate were 100% in treatment group and 100% in control group,without showing significant differences between these two groups(P0.05).There were no adverse events and severe adverse events happened in all these 144 cases. Conclusion Ozone is effective and safe in the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis and bacterial vaginosis.
